This small batch of spring soap was inspired by the vases of lilac flowers that graced my grandmother's dining table. Floral and feminine, very old fashioned. This is a true lilac scent.

For this soap I blend homegrown olive oil with locally sourced organic grass fed tallow and cold pressed coconut oil. I add kaolin clay to a mix of hibiscus and jasmine petal tea in my lye solution. Skin loving nutrients abound!

• orchid oxide for color, jasmine blossoms and cranberry seeds for decoration.

Keep in mind, handmade soap will last a long time if kept dry between uses in a draining soap dish.
