This handmade Extra Virgin Olive Oil Soap is a traditional Castile soap, made only with pure extra virgin olive oil and water with a touch of sea salt. This is made in the tradition of a Savon De Marseille. This Castile soap is gentle on the skin, chemical free, eco friendly, fragrance free, good for baby and sensitive skin. This soap is suitable for all skin types, mild, and makes a wonderful face and body bar. It is rare to find a 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil soap from homegrown olive oil. This one is aged 2+ years and is deeply moisturizing and cleansing. This is superior soap.

We live in an olive grove; each year we pick and press our olives for oil. This Castile soap is as pure and as local as it gets, created only with the olive oil from our orchard. This is a vegan soap. Our Castile soap is handcrafted in small batches from olive oil that we pressed in the winter of 2022, and it has been curing for a long time. As a result, this is a very hard soap with gentle lather.

Ours is a small holding with Olive trees well over 100 years old. These beautiful mature trees provide us with an abundance of fruit year after year, without chemicals of any kind. As well as olives for oil and pickling, our trees provide shade and food for our free-range chickens, turkeys and geese which in turn fertilize them in an ongoing cycle.

Keep in mind, handmade soap will last a long time if kept dry between uses in a draining soap dish.

This listing is for one bar of Olive Street Castile Soap, net weight approx. 2 to 4 oz. depending on the size you choose. These bars are hand-cut, so weight and size will vary slightly.
