With a soaped up dish brush and/or sponge use like you would a liquid soap. If you store it to dry between uses on a draining soap dish, you should be able to replace 2 bottles of liquid dish soap with this one bar. This bar is a hefty 7 oz. and can include the wooden soap dish and brush if you want them. Just choose the option you need from the drop down menu.

This dish soap is PALM OIL FREE, eco friendly, vegan and cruelty free. This soap has been tested with neutral and soft water. It works great in both conditions. Hard water may require more rinsing, and may leave streaks.

Handcrafted in small batches, Solid Bar Dish Soap includes:
• olive oil from my olive orchard
• coconut oil
• avocado oil
• essential oil/phthalate free fragrance oil blend


This listing is for one bar, Dish Washing Soap Bar, approx. 7 oz., and should you choose to add it: one poplar boardwalk style wooden soap dish and a dish scrubbing brush. You will find these in the drop down menu. These bars are hand-cut, so weight and size will vary slightly.

The reclaimed multi wood soap dishes are no longer available. The soap dishes I now offer are one piece- easy to clean and will last a long time. They are grooved to drain the water away from the soap quickly. Another benefit is that they are made with poplar, a fast growing sustainable hardwood that grows in abundance in North America. Also I have learned that this wood performs exceptionally well with water and moisture exposure.

*Keep in mind, handmade soap will last a long time if kept dry between uses in a draining soap dish*.

We're trying to eliminate plastic from our kitchen (which is impossible, but bear with me), so we've switched to solid soap for our dishes. This soap far exceeded the quality of another one we tried earlier. It gets our dishes nice and clean, and lasts a good, long time. Best of all, we're cutting way down on plastic detergent bottles!


I really like the big block of dish soap I bought. It smells soooo good! And it gets nice and sudsy, which people will say has nothing to do with how well it cleans but I like suds! Even if it is a placebo effect lol. A small bowl works better than the tray you can order with the soap because having a container with sides so the bar doesn’t slip around makes more sense than a flat tray it can slip off of. I’m excited to see how much longer it lasts vs a liquid soap in a plastic bottle! Thank you for your lovely product!

This was at least my third block of this soap, it's wonderful! I use much less soap and clean more dishes. Rinses super clean, no spots on my glasses.
